Biography :

Dr. Hossain is a Biomedical Engineer, BioNanoMedicine and Cancer Nanotechnology interdisciplinary research scientist and educator. He is current working as Faculty Chairman and Associate Professor, in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Jessore University of Science and Technology (JUST). Before joining JUST, he was Faculty as Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Bio-manufacturing Research Institute and Technology Enterprise (BRITE), North Carolina Central University, USA. He was also Faculty as Assistant Professor, Research at Graduate Institute of Technology and Biology Department of University of Arkansas at Little Rock, USA. He received doctorate degree in Applied Science / Applied Biosciences area of Biomedical Engineering / Cancer Bio-Nanotechnology from University of Arkansas at Little Rock, USA, 2011 with highest distinction (GPA 4.00 out of 4.00). Dr. Hossain also earned three Master’s degree from USA: M.S. in Applied Biosciences, and M.S. in Integrated Sciences and Mathematics, (Major in Biology and Chemistry), UALR with also highest distinction (GPA 4.00 out of 4.00). and an M. Engr. in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from University of Idaho, USA. He has completed his B.Sc. in Professional Biotechnology from Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Discipline of Khulna University. His research interests are focused on Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, BioNanoMedicine, Cancer BioNanotechnology; Bio-Pharmaceutical, Medical Diagnostics, and Biosensors. His laboratory employs a multi-disciplinary approach. He has served on a number of journal’s Editorial Boards members, reviewers and editors.

Ph.D. Rangel-Vázquez is a research at Instituto Tecnológico de Aguascalientes. Im level first in the National Researcher System at CONACYT in México. I have developed 12 projects in different areas such as: Drug delivery systems, hydrogels, biopolymers, simulations, materials science and mechanical engineering; published 3 books in molecular simulation, 50 papers, 50 conferences (Internationals and Nationals) and 12 books chapters. I have served as a reviewer for several journals: Journal of Applied Polymer Science, Materials Letters, Carbohydrate Polymers, Journal Polymer Engineering & Science, Thermochimica Acta, Journal of Molecular Structure, Journal of Surface and Coatings Technology, Academic Journal of Agricultural Research, World Journal of Engineering and Physical Sciences (WJEPS), Annual Research & Review in Biology, Journal of Applied Physical Science International, Global Conference on Polymer and Composite Materials 2015 and International Journal of Nanomedicine. I have worked in the Organizing of 12 International congress. I am on the Editorial Board of several journals including Journal of Pharmaceutics & Drug Development, Material Science and Engineering with Advanced Research, Journal of Nanomedicine Research, Nanomedicine Research Journal, Chemistry Journal, BAOJ Pharmaceutical Sciences (Bioaccent), Independent Journal of Managment & Production (Brazil) and Global Journal of Nanomedicine. I am Editor In Chief of BAOJ Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Journal of Pharmaceutics & Drug Development, respectively.

Research Interest :

Nanotechnology applied to controlled drug delivery systems. In particular, skin and brain cancer, diabetes mellitus, antifungical, Design and preparation of oral solid (tablets and capsules) dosage forms, Analysis of drugs in pure forms, formulations and biological matrices, Bioadhesive drug delivery systems, especially hydrogels, polymers, biopolymers and IPNs, respectively.

Rashid Mahmood has Master Degree in Analytical Chemistry and MS in Total Quality Management. He has 15 years of experience of Pharmaceutical Quality Operations and has attended many international conferences as a keynote speaker. He has presented various talks in USA & China on Cleaning Validation, cGMP Guidelines, Quality Risk Management, Role of Mass Spectrometry in Pharmaceuticals and on new Drug Delivery Systems. Currently he is working as a Senior Executive Manager Quality Operations for Surge Lab.(Manufacturer of Microencapsulated APIs, Liquid & Dry Powder Parentrals) which is the best export oriented organization of Pakistan.

Rashid Mahmood studied Analytical Chemistry and has completed his MS in Total Quality Management from Punjab University Lahore-Pakistan. He joined Surge Laboratories Private Limited in 2004 and immediately excelled in his executive career track. He is working as Senior Executive Manager Quality Assurance in one of the leading pharmaceutical company in Pakistan. Biography :

Mino Caira has directed the Centre for Supramolecular Chemistry Research at the University of Cape Town (UCT) since 2005. He retired as Professor of Physical Chemistry in 2014 and was subsequently appointed as a Senior Scholar in the Department of Chemistry at UCT. His expertise is in the area of solid-state chemistry of drug polymorphs and novel multi-component systems containing active pharmaceutical ingredients. He has published over 300 papers in international journals and since 2009 has served on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Biography :

Arwyn gained his PhD in protein biochemistry and crystallography at Birkbeck College, University of London. Then he undertook postdoctoral positions investigating endocytosis at the University of Liverpool and Harvard University, Boston USA. In 2000 he was awarded a European Molecular Biology Organization fellowship to work at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), Heidelberg Germany, and continued at the EMBL when he was awarded an Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Scholarship. He was appointed as Lecturer at the Cardiff School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Cardiff University in 2002 where he is now a Professor in Membrane Traffic and Drug Delivery. In addition to scientific research, Arwyn also has a very wide interest in public engagement with science and has organised a number of large exhibitions focusing on e.g. stem cell biology, tissue engineering, pollination and neuroscience. Through a BBC scholarship, he gained a Diploma in Journalism qualification from Bangor University in 2001 and for a number of years he has been a regular face and voice in the Welsh media discussing scientific issues.

Research Interest :

Projects in his lab fall under cancer cell biology, endocytosis and drug delivery, concentrating on linking endocytosis research to enhance our capacity to deliver therapeutics to defined regions of cells. He actively collaborates with a number of national and international groups including his recent strong involvement with COMPACT (http://www.compact-research.org/) - an academic/industrial consortium collaborating on the Optimisation of Macromolecular Pharmaceutical Access to Cellular Targets. Arwyn has published widely within the fields of endocytosis and drug delivery especially within the remit of early endosomal traffic and the utilization of Cell Penetrating Peptides as drug delivery vectors. He currently sits on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Controlled Release and Membranes.

Hiroshi Maeda is a world renowned expert in macromolecular therapeutics. He created the world first polymeric-conjugate drug, SMANCS, approved for treatment of hepatoma in Japan. Consequently, he discovered the concept of EPR effect of macromolecular-drugs, ubiquitous mechanism for solid tumor selective targeting of polymeric drugs. He received MS, University of California, Devis, Fulbright student, Ph.D., M.D., Tohoku University. He published more than 450 papers in reputed journals. He was awarded Lifetime-Achievement-Award at Royal-Pharmaceutical-Society, Princess-Takamatsu-Award in Cancer Research, Tomizo-Yoshida-Award, highest award of Japan-Cancer-Assoc., and also selected as most cited influential scientist in pharmacology by Thomson Reuters 2014, and H-index of 89.

The organizers holds no responsibilities or liabilities of the personal articles of attendees at the venue against any kind of theft, lost, damage, due to any reason whatsoever. Delegates are entirely responsible for the safety of their own belongings.

 

Insurance

No insurance, of any kind, is included along with the registration in any of the events of the organization.

 

Transportation

Please note that transportation and parking is the responsibility of the registrant, Allied Academies will not be liable for any actions howsoever related to transportation and parking.

 

Press/Media

Press permission must be obtained from Allied Academies Conference Organizing Committee prior to the event. The press will not quote speakers or delegates unless they have obtained their approval in writing. The Allied Academies is an objective third-party nonprofit organization and this conference is not associated with any commercial meeting company.

 

Requesting an Invitation Letter

For security purposes, letter of invitation will be sent only to those individuals who had registered for the conference after payment of complete registration fee. Once registration is complete, please contact pharmaceutical@alliedmeetings.com to request for a personalized letter of invitation, if not received until one month before the scheduled date of event.

All the bank charges applicable during refund will be deducted from the account of participant.

 

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations or modifications of registration must be made in writing to finance@alliedacademies.com

 

If, due to any reason, Allied academies postpone an event on the scheduled date, the participant is eligible for a credit of 100% of the registration fee paid. This credit shall only be used for another event organized by Allied academies within period of one year from the date of rescheduling.

 

Postponement of event

If, due to any reason, Allied academies postpone an event and the participant is unable or unwilling to attend the conference on rescheduled dates, he/she is eligible for a credit of 100% of the registration fee paid. This credit shall only be used for another event organized by Allied academies within period of one year from the date of rescheduling.

 

Transfer of registration

All registrations, after payment of complete registration fee, are transferable to other persons from the same organization, if in case the person is unable to attend the event. Request for transfer of registration must be made by the registered person in writing to finance@alliedacademies.com. Details must include the full name of replaced new registrant, their title, contact phone number and email address. All other registration details will be assigned to the new person unless otherwise specified.

Registration can be transferred to one conference to another conference of Allied academies if the person is unable to attend one of conferences.

However, Registration cannot be transferred if intimated within 14 days of respective conference.

The transferred registrations will not be eligible for Refund.

Visa Information

Keeping in view of increased security measures, we would like to request all the participants to apply for Visa as soon as possible.

Allied academies will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants. All delegates or invitees should apply for Business Visa only.

Important note for failed visa applications: Visa issues are not covered under the cancellation policy of Allied academies, including the inability to obtain a visa.

 

Refund Policy:

If the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her participation to another person or event, then the following refund policies apply:

Keeping in view of advance payments towards Venue, Printing, Shipping, Hotels and other overhead charges, following Refund Policy Orders are available:

  • Before 60 days of the conference: Eligible for Full Refund after deduction of $100 towards service Fee.
  • Within 60-30 days of Conference: Eligible for 50% of payment Refund
  • Within 30 days of Conference: Not eligible for Refund
  • E-Poster Payments will not be refunded.

 

Accommodation Cancellation Policy:

Accommodation Service Providers (Hotels) have their own cancellation policies which are applicable when cancellations are made less than 30 days prior to arrival. If in case the registrant wishes to cancel or amend the accommodation, he/ she is expected to inform the organizing authorities on a prior basis. Allied academies will advise the registrant to ensure complete awareness about the cancellation policy of your accommodation provider, prior to cancellation or modification of their booking.
